Lightspeed Champion (Devonté Hynes) is a singer/songwriter born in Houston, Texas and currently residing in New York City. He lived in Essex for most of his life and was a member of the short-lived London dance punk trio Test Icicles. Dev has recently recorded music under the name Blood Orange.
