Laukaus has been played on NTS shows including NTS Presents Remote Utopias: Supported by Jameson, with Valta (Valssi Mix) first played on 2 May 2020.

Laukaus was a Japanese punk band that played songs in Finnish. The members were interested in 80's Finnish hardcore punk. The band consisted of Uutiset ("Uuti", vocals), Real hani ("Hani", guitar), Kuroda Purjo (bass) and 02 (Drums). Laukaus published one demotape and two EPs. In October 2006 Laukaus announced to quit. Uutiset and 02 made a new band called N.O.W.
