Jesus Jones

Jesus Jones has been played on NTS shows including SKYAPNEA, with International Bright Young Thing first played on 18 May 2013.

Jesus Jones are an English alternative rock group that has recorded and performed from the late 80s up into the present day, best known for their mainstream dance breakout hits in the early 90s such as "Right Here Right Now" and "Real Real Real" (both Top 40 tracks in both the U.S. and the U.K). Incorporating elements of electronic music styles such as house and techno to an alternative rock format, along with fellow British groups such as The Shamen, Pop Will Eat Itself, and EMF, they were one of the leading purveyors of the early 1990s alternative dance scene and influenced many later bands such as His Boy Elroy.

The band is led by singer-songwriter Mike Edwards. They have released six studio albums, with the latest, 'Culture Vulture', published through Mi5 Recordings in 2004. They also have made two live albums and continue to tour. For more information, see their official website here.
