Melys (translation "Sweet") is a Welsh indie-rock band from Betws-y-Coed. Formed in 1996, the band went on hiatus from 2005-2009.

Much loved by the legendary British DJ John Peel, core members are Andrea Parker (vocals), Paul Adams (guitar and keyboards), Carys Jones (keyboards) and Gary Husband.
