On 25 April 2024, Discovery Zone was a guest on RVNG Intl. Presents Friends & Fiends. Discovery Zone has been played over 30 times on NTS, first on 17 July 2020. Discovery Zone's music has been featured on 34 episodes.

JJ Weihl was born and raised in New York City. She is a founding member of the Berlin based experimental pop band Fenster and plays solo with her project Discovery Zone. She is also the creative director of the video art collective VIDEOKILLS which curates a traveling exhibition called Invisible City Symphonies, combining contemporary silent film with live original music scores. When she is not touring or recording music, JJ works as a translator, produces radio programs, curates, DJs, promotes concerts, writes and makes films and music videos. She currently lives in Berlin.
