The Amber Squad has been played on NTS shows including Yesterday's News, with (I Can't) Put My Finger On You first played on 17 July 2020.

Formed in Oakham Rutland in late 1979, the band played a mixture of Pop, Rock, punk and ska. They were on the Radio 1 play list, and featured on the John Peel show, as well as Mike Read’s Round Table.
