Tetsuo Furudate (古館徹夫), originally from Tokyo, Japan, started his career in experimental film and video art in 1981. From the middle of 1980's he gradually turned toward music through performing art, contributing to the development of the Japanese noise music in its early period with other pioneers such as Merzbow.
