There are two bands called On Parole :
On Parole from Livingston, Scotland were NOT an R.A.C. band as originally stated here. They were formed in 1979, released one 5 track demo in 1982 and appeared on A Country Fit For Heroes Vol.2 with their song Condemned.
On Parole was born in Gothenburg, Sweden in the early summer of 2004. During the short period of existence between then and now (april 2006) the band has already signed a three-album-contract with German record label ZYX/Punk’n’Drunk and they recorded a full length album containing 13 hard-riffing songs. A license deal has also been made with Locomotive in the US.
During mars 2006 they carried out two gigs together with the american band Nashville Pussy at Södra Teatern in Stockholm and Sticky Fingers Top Floor in Gothenburg, where they also made some shots for their video: “Hard Rockin’ Man” (see the download page)
In august 2006 the bands debut album, entitled Classic Noise, saw the daylight on both CD and vinyl in Germany, Holland and Belgium. During the spring it will also be released in the Scandinavian countries. Featuring 12 cooking rock’n’roll anthems (13 on the vinyl), this debut has definately left it’s mark in the holy book of hardrock!
On Parole from Livingston, Scotland were a punk/Oi! Band formed in 1979.
