Asphalt Jungle was a French punk band, influenced by artists like The Velvet Underground, The Stooges or The Flamin' Groovies. The band was formed in 1977 by singer and rock - critic Patrick Eudeline and guitarist Rikki Darling. The name of the band was taken from original noir movie directed by John Houston.
