Pefkin has been played on NTS in shows including 80s Rampwalk , featured first on 24 November 2020. Songs played include The Lunar Pull, Tulungusaq and Loose Papers.

Pefkin is British psych-folk musician Gayle Brogan (née Gayle Harrison). In addition to recording as Pefkin, Brogan has been a member of Electroscope and Meadowsilver, and recorded as Alison O'Donnell & Gayle Brogan.

Brogan first came into the spotlight as a member of Electroscope with John Cavanagh and by printing the Boa fanzine. Boa eventually morphed into Boa Melody Bar/ Boa records. She co-runs Curiously Euphonic records.
