Frontend Developer

LONDON

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to help us create our next big ideas and take the NTS website into its next phase and beyond. We’re looking for a developer with at least 2 years of industry experience, however we’re open to hear from all levels of experience.

You’ll be joining a small tech team during an exciting time for NTS, currently in the process of creating large and unique features extending the functionality of the NTS website. As well as building upon the existing site, you’ll be involved in the creation of occasional greenfield projects similar to the likes of our Aphex Twin project and Jeff Mills project.

We’re looking for a problem solver and a creative thinker; someone who enjoys questioning and challenging how modern tech can be used innovatively. Pretty websites and unusual designs should be something you naturally take notice of. You should be an eager learner, unafraid of tasks you may not initially know how to solve, and comfortable to ask for and give help when needed. Generally speaking, we’re looking for responsible team player.

We’re a small team, and within that is room for original ideas and the real opportunity for those ideas to become the reality during this exciting period for NTS.

Must Have:

• Proven experience in frontend development, with a focus and passion for CSS.
• Experience in writing responsive, cross-browser and cross-platform web pages.
• Experience and confidence with animations and transitions.
• Comfortable with JavaScript, or at least the basics of.
• Passion for music and what we do at NTS.

Bonus Points:

• Proficiency and interest in NodeJS and JavaScript libraries, particularly React.
• Experience in Agile, and Test-Driven Development.
