iOS DEVELOPER (CONTRACT)

London/Remote

We’re looking for an iOS Developer to help us launch, maintain and update our iOS app.

You’ll be taking the lead, initially alongside our current iOS Developer, with launching our NTS iOS app (March 2018) and both maintaining and updating it post-launch.

Feedback from our beta users suggests a series of improvements and we expect you take ownership of the existing codebase to deliver the best solutions for these. You’ll be working within the Tech team alongside a UX/UI Designer, a Frontend Developer (Web) and a Backend Developer. Our current freelance iOS Developer is available to assist during a handover period.

We’re looking for somebody with awareness of iOS development and design standards. You should be eager to suggest and voice your opinion on our designs and features, but also accepting of when to listen to somebody else’s. Generally speaking, we’re looking for a responsible team player with a passion for mobile development.

We’re a small team, so you’ll be granted a lot of responsibility, and with this comes the real opportunity for your ideas to become the product reality.

Must Have:

• Knows how to write clean and testable code.
• Proven experience in iOS Development. We’d love to see what you’ve previously done and the motivations behind the work.
• Extensive experience with Swift.
• Published iPhone apps.
• Experience or willingness to learn RxSwift.

Bonus Points:

• Interest in Android development.
• Interest and talent for UI / UX design.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Passion for music and what we do at NTS.

This is a freelance position that we are aiming to fill before end of March 2018. We are open to your proposal on how the engagement can be structured. We are based in Dalston, London but are happy to consider contractors working remotely.
