Aboutface - The water that glows like dancing glass cuts crimson
London, 20.07.19
Inspired by a 3 month period recording and interpreting dreams, the performance uses glacier sounds recorded on Polar expedition c/o the Alfred Wegener Institute – a centre for polar and marine research, alongside sections of dream prose to create a live improvised performance that evokes the inter-connectivity between environmental change, and the collective subconscious. Recorded live at Freerotation 2019.
Feat Taro (Violin) Sanjai Sanka (Tabla) and Leyla Pillai (Dream prose narration)
