Futuro Ancestral w/ Antropoceno - Experimental Baile Funk
Antropoceno explores the main trends of Brazilian experimental music - each episode will dive into a different subgenre. This is an effort to catalogue Brazil\s contemporary scene and contextualize it in the history of Brazilian avant-garde, paying homage to the records that paved the way to influence and build the sounds we see today.
From the host: "Experimentation is a central characteristic of Baile Funk. Its profane and provocative nature has allowed the genre to endure as a vivid manifestation of the culture of peripheries, and to project Funk Bruxaria & 150 BPM internationally as two of the most prolific scenes of Brazilian Avant-Garde."
