Rhythm Section Radio was founded in 2009 and moved to NTS in 2012, and has since pulled out the stops breaking new music, promoting independent labels and paying homage to the greatest music from the past, through a perhaps unhealthy obsession with record digging.
"For our first mix of the year we invited Alexander "Savier" Khmelevsky aka Burago — Moscow based artist, musician, and founder of NII, one of Moscow’s most interesting and phenomenal venues ever existed. First released extremely rare LP “Buma” in 2013 and then appeared on Johns’ Kingdom with “Kabardian” tape, Savier then kept a 5 year silence. In 2019 he was back on the track with a great 12” on Japanese St.GIGA boutique imprint and now he just released “TAEGEUK” EP on Helpful Music. In this mix he mostly selected ambient productions which represent the unique world of Burago in a very accurate and deep way."
