This month’s show features the legendary Senegalese band Lemzo Diamono, focusing mostly on two of their early albums: “Jom” from 1992, also known as Volume One, and Masla Bi from Lead by instrumentalists Lamine and Tapha Faye, the mbalax band featured such great singers (and previous features of this show) as Alioune Mbaye Nder, Mada Ba, Fallou Dieng, and great percussionists Moussa Traoré, Mahanta Faye, Alioune Faye and more.
