When babies are born they enter into a dyad with their caregiver, usually their mother. Their deepest thoughts, experiences, and intentions are revealed through the language of their bodies in active dialogue. The intricate rhythms of their movements, the timing of their gestures, and the spatial shifts of posture comprise their unique choreography in the dance of relating. This is mother and baby’s way… Inspired by my experience of observing a mother-infant relationship, this lighthearted mix puts music to some of the non-verbal cues, embodied attunement, and playful reciprocity that lie at the heart of this most primal dance!
