IDIOTIC DANCE MIX W/ HEIBAIWUCHANG
While coined “intelligent dance music (IDM)”, this flair of experimental electronic music was certainly not 4-on-4 "untz ahtz" dance floor-oriented, yet dubbing it “intelligent” by music publications and marketers certainly drew criticism and dismissal from forerunners of the movement/genre. As a celebratory pose of the “idiotic” aspect of IDM, this mix draws attention on drill ’n’ bass, the most frenetic, jungle breakbeat-infused, whack shit vocal sample-filled, brain melt-inducing flavour of IDM.
