A cut-and-paste collection of recordings made by pioneering sound archivist Tony Schwartz. Creator of multiple records for the Folkways label in the early to late 1950s, Schwartz made a unique mix of candid spoken word, found ambient sound, street musicians and folk music, incl. the earliest recordings of Moondog made on NYC streets. Schwartz would later go on to have a vast career in advertizing, creating the infamous 'Daisy' ad for the Lyndon Johnson campaign, and was dubbed a guru of the newly emerging "electronic media" by Marshall McLuhan.
