In 1968, poet John Giorno set up a toll-free telephone number that a person could call to hear recordings of some of the great poets of his era. The Giorno Foundation & Almine Rech Gallery present a week long series, airing some of the telephone numbers greatest calls, from David Byrne, Charles Bukowski, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson & lots more.
