On the Feast Day of Hildegard of Bingen, Ignota Books presents Unknown Language, a new novel by Hildegard of Bingen and Huw Lemmey with Bhanu Kapil and Alice Spawls. Ranging from speculative mysticism, Hildegard’s mystical invented language Lingua Ignota, apocalyptic visions, sonic revelations and the greening power of viriditas, this show explores the life and work of the polymath, healer, composer, scientist and mystic visionary, channelling her messages for the 21st century.
