New episode focusing on some of the Basque musicians that contributed to modernise music in Spain by applying new compositional techniques like chance, serialism or the non-standard use of musical instruments that were becoming popular in Europe at the time.
This programme is aimed as a reinterpretation of the spirit of the group of musicians from the “Generation of ‘51” (Cristóbal Halffter, Luis de Pablo, Carmelo Bernaola y Ramón Barce), not as a direct homage, but as an opening to include other players that perhaps didn’t get the recognition they deserved.
