House Call w/ Color One Tear Black: Cost of Living
In a world where ‘rare soul’ DJs seem increasingly happy to drop three or four figures on a single 45, the Color One Tear Black crew thought it time to shine a light on some great, but overlooked soul-drenched bargains. To qualify as a Cost of Living selection, a record has to be available for £10 or under, in VG+ condition or better, at the time the mix is put together.
Cost of Living mix #1 is an hour's selection from Jim Edwards and David Hill, and as per the rules, the 18 tracks played come in at less than £180 for the lot, which feels quite refreshing.
