This episode compiles all of the known recordings of The Ones … true Lansing, Michigan legends. During the '60s, they were signed to Motown Records, cut a few scorching R&B singles (i.e. "You Haven't Seen My Love"), but never earned more than regional traction. Later, after the Nicholoff brothers left at the onset of the '70s, Danny (the vocalist) went into more of a progressive R&B area – those tracks are heard here via a rare 1972 live LP called "Back Home: At the Brewery." To round out the hour, the final track is a 1980 single from later-era Ones member, and Danny's cousin, Ronnie Hernandez. It's the VERY '80s sounding "Dancing in Lansing." It charted in Lansing (of course) in 1980.
