Luis Alvarado: CUBA CIRCUITOS PARALELOS (1994–2011)
Luis Alvarado is a record producer, curator, and independent researcher based in Lima, focused on art and sound, and experimental music. He is the director of the record label Buh Records, distinguished for its work in the historical archiving of avant-garde and experimental music from Peru and Latin America. From the host: "This mixtape brings together tracks by Cuban artists recorded on the island between 1994 and 2011. It traces a map based on a personal selection where different approaches coexist, ranging from punk, electronic and electroacoustic music to improvisation and non-conventional forms of rock."
