Luis Alvarado: EN FICCIÓN - A TRIBUTE TO ELECTRO-Z
Luis Alvarado is a record producer, curator, and independent researcher based in Lima, focused on art and sound, and experimental music. He is the director of the record label Buh Records, distinguished for its work in the historical archiving of avant-garde and experimental music from Peru and Latin America. From the host: "In 1999, Lima-based band Electro-Z released their only album, an early landmark of Peruvian indie rock. Soon after, the members moved to New York and the band disbanded. Over time, the record became a cult classic. More than 25 years later, 18 young bands cover its songs in homage to it."
