A pioneer in the distinctly Japanese sonics of "environmental" sound design, composer Takashi Kokubo began his solo career in the early 1980s, making synthesizer compositions inspired by classical music in the vein of fellow Japanese composer Isao Tomita, but across the following decades, his productions would pay deep homage to the sounds of the natural world and its spiritually soothing properties – as both inspiration for his music, and as a prominent feature in the music itself.
In an era of everything at once, Gabrielle Kwarteng is a DJ who weaves stories that often look to the past, while always focusing on possible futures. Dip in to hear a range of dance music from downtempo to deep house to techno rollers - and everything in between.

In today's Intearnetradio we have invited Bulgarian DJ Val, showcasing some of their fondest bulgarian pop songs. Her mix is all about giving you some Bulgarian heat while embracing and honoring their own sonic source. It’s an homage to her first, and forever-lasting, music icons. It’s hot and dumb and chaotic, in the best ways imaginable. In her words: 'This is the soundtrack to which I’ll shake my booty and cry my bitter sweet tears as the apocalypse envelops everything around me' ig: @valdechev
