Every mix seems to have idea of transformation embeded in it's core. Firstly creating a mix means transforming my feelings into a musical story, a type of a diary that can reflect my current state. Secondly it allows me to transform the trakcs i like to listen to into new songs simply by playing them in a specific context of other tracks, or by layering them on top of one another. There is moments in this mix when four songs play together simultaniously and sometimes there are just field records being left to play till they're almost unsetlling (I don't like listeners to stay too comfortable thrughout my mixes). Transformation is mutation, often times into something unpredictable. Keep a close listen and I hope you'll be surprised how this story develops. This mix became my close companion in everyday life, allowing itself to transform many of my day to day experiences. It has it's changing form and it's own feelings. It's a living thing. I've cut a 20 minute long tail in order to fit it into NTS guidlines for this radio mixtape submission opportunity, but it's heart still beats strong. Metamorphosis keeps it from being stale. The title reminds me that there is no such thing as disorder, as it is yet another type of arrangement. Maybe in this sense there is no such thing as transforming, as transformation describes something most native to every life form, a living thing transforms, and in this way it always stays the same.
