From the slowly thawing reaches of Tallinn, Estonia comes a mix from multimedia artist Zody Burke, in conjunction with the opening of her group exhibition Entropy Gauntlet at EKA Gallery in Tallinn. Zody has crafted this mix in harmony with the tensions explored within the Gauntlet; between fantasies of the world we've inherited versus the reality of a warming planet; all swathed in a thick deluge of solastalgia & swan songs for perceptions of Americana, the brutal and the beautiful. From her roots in the vast rhizome of the DIY experimental noise/freak world of the USA, to her new digs in the Baltics, her mix for the Monolith charts a course that can only end at the final destination: entropy.
