No artists resonate more with the experimentation and nebulous genre-lessness of the UK post punk era than Throbbing Gristle. This two hour episode dives deep into their work, featuring related projects, solo work and more.

Brooklyn-based electronic indie band Balún identifies as transnational. Originating from the San Juan indie scene, the band has since embarked on a transformative journey through the music industry, academia, and the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. Their deep understanding of reggaeton's Jamaican dancehall roots has evolved their shoegaze pop into what they call “dreambow.” This mix lovingly titled "Haus of Balúnciaga and Friends" features music by the band, their solo projects (including Angélica Negrón, Shayna Dunkelman with NOMON, José Olivares co-producing for Lido Pimienta, and Darian Donovan Thomas), and songs from their close friends. Through this mix, they aim to bring the sounds of their various homes (Puerto Rico, Brooklyn, Texas, Mexico, Japan) together and celebrate the community of artists they are fortunate to call their friends.
