Half of the Beat Femme duo and a part of the Nebulosa label, Lorrany is an up-and-coming DJ who knows no limits while navigating the baile funk world. Drums are key, and she finds her way among loaded kicks and crashing snares. Lorrany was born and raised in São Paulo's east side, the city's first hotbed of baile funk, and she melds together all of her influences in her guest mix, with a special focus on afro-centered rhythms. Not by chance, she has also drawn from that atmosphere in the making of "Mandela Cunt," her track featured on the FUNK.BR - São Paulo compilation.
