Uniqlo Tate Lates - Kelman Duran

For Uniqlo Tate Lates January, artists created site specific soundscapes inspired by Olafur Eliasson’s Your Double-Lighthouse Projection installation. Kelman Duran interpreted the installation by speculating on the afterglow of light, using its sonic iteration - the reverb effect - throughout his mix. Like the figure of a lighthouse across the sea, some parts of the mix may have the illusion of coming from an eerie distance. The hymns and chants throughout the mix evoke the spirituality and transcendence of light itself.
