Diminishing Returns w/ Record Turnover
1986 wow it's forty years ago. It's always been my favourite year for music, as much as I love all of that decade. It was after disco, hiphop was growing and it was a few years before house and dance music caught on. What should we make of this chaotic era? It was when punk, post-punk, synths and drum machines were all in the mix for DIY songwriters and tapes were passed around. So it's time for an '86 in '26 mix – going deep into minimal wave and coldwave.
