Sunset in the Maghreb (1959 – 1983) I have a long-standing obsession with old music from the Maghreb region in North Africa. For this mix, I’ve chosen favorites from Algeria and Morocco, spanning three decades and various folk and pop genres and their crossovers. I feel deeply connected to the music, even though the lyrics remain beyond my understanding.
