Himukalt is the moniker of Nevada based artist, Ester Kärkkäinen. She uses noise, voice, electronics, xerox. Replication and reproduction of the body through sound via desire, lust, hostility, rage, mania, depression, blood, flesh. Taking inspiration from power electronic and death industrial iconoclasts such as Atrax Morgue, Puce Mary, and Anenzephalia, her recorded works have been published through Malignant Records, Found Remains, The Helen Scarsdale Agency, Angst, No Rent, and Several Minor Promises.
