Hawaii

Tony Arnold

Tony Arnold

Tony Arnold has been played on NTS in shows including Tafelmusik w/ Francesco Fusaro, featured first on 7 August 2022. Songs played include Échange.

Tony Arnold cranked up Gray Mortuary Recordings to accommodate his conceptual projects such as Musaphonic, Macular Degenerates, The Pachinko Allahs, and Gray Mortuary. Initial offerings were by the short-lived duo Menage 'A Twang, followed by the other releases which were, in most cases, essentially solo efforts. Straddling a wide array of musical styles and influences, Ophidian Lullabies foreshadows the diversity which manifests itself on the samplers Selective Hearing, Nouveau Kitsch and Twangtime!, which include previously-unreleased tracks, highlights and alternate cuts. Tony Arnold has consistently avoided public performance, concentrating instead on the creative impulse as inspiration.
