Ruf Dug brings the leftfield: old video game soundtracks, dusty analogue dreamers and poolside Balearic sounds. No nonsense from the original tropical cyberpunk.

Lesser heard sounds with a focus on femmes in punk from artist and musician Sara A.

Nous Non Plus

Nous Non Plus

Nous Non Plus has been played on NTS shows including SCORING MACHINE w/ AGATHE ROUSSELLE, with Les Damnés first played on 16 November 2023.

Nous Non Plus are a faux-French indie rock band which formed in New York City, New York, United States in 2005. They consist of Jean-Luc Retard (vocals, bass), Céline Dijon (vocals), Bonnie Day (vocals, violin, tambourine), Cal d'Hommage (guitar), Morris "Mars" Chevrolet (synthesizer), François Hardonne (keyboards, trumpet) and Professeur Harry Covert (drums). Retard, Covert and Day are former members of Les Sans Cullottes, another New York-based faux-French indie band. Nous Non Plus have so far released two albums: 2005's "Nous Non Plus" and 2009's "Menagerie".

The members of …Nous Non Plus hail variously from Paris (chanteuse Céline Dijon), La Jolla (guitarist Calvino "Cal D’Hommage" DiMaggio), Westport (chanteuse Bonnie Day), San Francisco (keyboardist Morris “Mars” Chevrolet), Denver (chanteur, bassist Jean-Luc Retard), Pittsburgh (drummer Professeur Harry Covert) and Boston (Keyboardist, trumpet genius François Hardonne). They met at the Rhode Island School of Design in the early nineties, drinking in the sounds of 60's French yé-yé pop from Gainsbourg, Dutronc, and Ferrer. After an extended post graduation stay in Ramatuelle, they relocated to New York in 1998. Their sound was crafted off the drunken vapors of French pop, as heard through the ears of (mostly) Americans. After years of playing together, the band has grown, matured, ripened—like fine Bordeaux. Nous Non Plus (meaning “We neither,” and/or also “Neither do we,” as well as, literally, “Us No More”)
