Brooklyn, NY born and based DJ and record producer Dazegxd spends an hour on the NTS waves with an exhibition of his signature style - blending cuts dancy, deep, and downright classic from hip-hop to jungle.
Considered a reaction to the more lively bebop styles of jazz, the postwar era saw a rise in subdued styles, often referencing classical music. NTS selects two hours of cool jazz from Miles Davis, Chet Baker and more.

from Okanagan, British Columbia - https://the-nobodies.bandcamp.com
The Nobodies are an independent Pop/Rock band out of Chicago. The band consists mainly of Andrew Lothian and Gavin O'Broin, and other members circle in and out. The band's big four influences are Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, The Wallflowers, and Wilco. They are just starting to play shows around Chicagoland, so watch out for them!
Side project of The Orchestre Murphy.
THE NOBODIES / THE GENERIC BAND (1981-1983) Canadian band. Were founded with Robert Handel (bass) & Mark Sippola (guitar & vocals) in 1981. Tom Moore (guitar) joined in 1982 and the band changed their name to The Generic Band. Started in Thunder Bay, Ontario. In 1982, the band relocated to Vancouver, BC. Sonically, the band was heavily experimental. The styles tended to numerous variants on the punk, post punk, no wave & new wave styles.
