Rapper Neil Cole is the son of Professor Stanley Unwin. He adopted the stage name of Djum Djum in 1976. The name derives from the sound made when chewing an elastic band. Djum Djum sings in a variation of his his father's Basic Engly Twentyfido language. He also appeared as Sgt Turtle in The Longest Day.
