Tèwèldè Rèdda has been played on NTS in shows including Sonny Abegaze, featured first on 12 March 2015. Songs played include Milenu and Momona.

A distinguished krar (lyre) player, Tèwèldè Rèdda is also a pioneering guitarist, with a highly individual sound and phrasing. Tèwèldè joined the Eritrean resistance before going into exile and, since 1989, has been living in Holland, where he has refugee status.
