Robert “Bobby” Beausoleil has produced a body of artwork -- including musical recordings, visual art, and writings -- all while behind bars. His work often represents his artistic spirit. His most notable work is the soundtrack for Kenneth Anger's film Lucifer Rising. Since its production in the 1970s, the Lucifer Rising soundtrack has been acclaimed as a prog-rock symphony describing a spiritual journey. Bobby has since composed and recorded many more albums of evocative music, often correlated to his visual works.
