Ché-SHIZU (シェシズ) is a Japanese avant-folk / free improvisation group consisting of Chie Mukai (向井千恵) and others. The group's sound is dominated by Mukai's vocals and her haunting erhu playing. The group was formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1980, but is currently inactive.
