On their Facebook page [http://www.facebook.com/pages/5Five/55492097821] they state that '5five' is short for 50/50, "…literally meaning 50/50 of all round music", whether that be Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B, Zouk. Basically, 5five state that their music has a little bit of every style embedded within it.
