The Rhythm Kings has been played on NTS shows including Los Hitters, with A Forgotten Lover first played on 1 July 2018.

The Rhythm Kings formed in the city of Medan indonesia in 1967. They had previously consisted of Mawi Proto (bass / vocals), Mawan Ancient (lead guitar / vocals), Reynaldo Pangan (drums), and Muchsin (rhythm). Initially a band balls at school events of its era.
