ROGER PAULETTA was born in Puerto Rico. His mother is from Dominican Repuplic and Father is from Curacao. Roger Pauletta started his musical career as a New York club DJ. As evolution would have it, he began remixing, arranging and editing records for major labels. During his career Roger has worked with many artists including TUPAC SHAKUR, DEPECHE MODE, GREG NICE, JANET JACKSON, KATE PIERSON from the B52's and TODD TERRY just to name a few for who he has Produced, Mixed and Edited. His impressive list of Edit credits is second to none and his vast understanding of music has afforded him the notoriety he so well deserves. In collaboration with Cutting Records, the concept for the duo group “2 IN A ROOM” was developed with DOSE (R.Vargas) and ROGER PAULETTA as artists. They recorded the song “Do What You Want” which opened the door for follow up “Wiggle It” (Cutting /Virgin Records) which became a hit and climbed to the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Charts. ROGER PAULETTA also known as “Big Rog” and “Rog Nice” continued producing and mixing and is now recognized as a skilled songwriter/producer/remixer in Dance Music, Hip Hop, and Latin music.
