Empire State has been played on NTS in shows including Ben Sims Presents: Run It Red, featured first on 7 August 2017. Songs played include Tight, Crush Them ALL and Obey.

The eclectic electronic/post-rock group Empire State consists of brothers Jay and Tim Nackashi and a revolving cast of members, including Alex McManus, Brent Jones and Jessi Flavin.
