Michiru Aoyama is a Japanese ambient producer born in Tokyo, Japan in 1985. He is currently living in Kamakura. His music was selected by Ryuichi Sakamoto for the J-wave radio audition project in 2006. In 2008, he went to Germany to learn electronic music. His debut release was the EP Green noise in 2010. He released his debut album yellow marina in 2011. His second album about alice was released in 2012 through somehowrecordings. He is currently releasing albums through Organic Industries. The label released his third and fourth albums, 音は光る (The Sound Is Shining) in 2013 and 暖かな季節 (Warm Season) in 2014, respectively. The limited edition, handmade CD-R release of Warm Season includes three 9x9cm photographs taken by Andre Gansebohm.
