A few years ago three strange young men, a film composer (Nathan David, Guitar), a rock producer (Dean Dichoso, Guitar/Vocals), and a robotic lighting designer (Paul Anderson, Bass), chose a path less-travelled….or dare we say almost too travelled.. by many rock artists chasing a well-fabricated dream.
Having crossed paths with drummer Andy Gentile, and Vocalist Jamie Burgin, they formed Stasera, a rock band of sorts which has always operated on the mission to truly create something with depth, something that was interactive to the mind and to the heart, something that would make their fans fall in love with the art….not forget about it. After all, that is what we do when we are done listening to the current flash-in-the-pan pop/rock artists of today, right?
Who are Stasera's fans? Who knows? One could say fans of 90's grunge, late-era female-rock-boomers, or even a healthy amount of metal heads would certainly identify with Stasera's sincere, elegant aggression. What is certain is that in the last 4 years, anyone who has crossed paths with this band or their music has been successfully swooned by the intense lyrics, fresh songwriting, and solid musicianship of Stasera.
Will you fall in love next?
Stasera's next release, "…le progressioni del cuore" serves up a heavy dose of dark, powerful metal-laden rock tunes. From the naked, emotive "The Bottle" which deals with the consequent aspects of human recreational indulgence, to the dark love story of "Shelter"(featuring NOA from local act VIE)… from the violent outbursts of hard-rocker "Impossible" (featuring MARTINA AXEN of DRAIN STH) to the sexual and abrasive "Residue". No one will be able to ignore the absolutely undeniable greatness of "progressioni".
