MKL has been played on NTS in shows including Dubuntu, featured first on 11 April 2020. Songs played include Surrender Your Love (MKL Havana Mix).

A drummer since the age of eleven and having played in many bands covering a variety of different genres and line-ups for a number of years MKL soon found himself wanting more creative control over the music he was writing. At this time he was also developing an interest in electronic music and this led him to start producing music.

Having been producing electronic music for over four years now MKL has had two notable releases to date with Housefly Records and Point Audio. MKL's music covers a variety of electronically-orientated generic fields from Dubstep and Breakbeat to House and he also records and produces a wide range of other genres from classical to Pop.
