NTS regular Midwife has been hosting Machines of Loving Grace w/ Midwife since 24 June 2021. Midwife hosted a guest show on 25 March 2021. Midwife has been played on NTS over 40 times, featured on 41 episodes and was first played on 20 August 2020.

Midwife is the moniker of Madeline Johnston. She lives and works in San Miguel, New Mexico by way of Denver, Colorado, where she spent the better half of the past decade developing her experimental pop project. As a self taught guitarist and recording engineer, Midwife explores dark subject matter in her anthemic, soft-gaze hits. Self-described as “Heaven Metal,” or emotive music about devastation - catharsis.
